What I Coach
As a Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach, I help college students learn how to budget, save, and spend with purpose—without the stress or guesswork.
My coaching is practical, personal, and focused on real progress. I don’t sell products or give investment advice—I teach you the skills to take control of your money now and build a strong foundation for the future.
College is hard enough without money stress on top. If these sound familiar, you’re in the right place:
-
Money is stressful—hiding from it makes it worse.
With my coaching:
Unpack the fear behind the numbers
Get a simple, step-by-step plan to stop the spiral
Start winning with your money, one small habit at a time
You’ll feel the difference the first time you look at your bank account without panic.
-
You’re tired of saying “I can’t, I’m broke.” You don’t want to miss out—but you don’t want to be reckless either.
Let me help you:
Create a “fun money” category in your budget
Learn how to spend with intention—not guilt
Say yes to nights out and still stay on track
You’ll have margin for memories—and confidence to say no when it matters.
-
Between tuition, books, groceries, and gas—where did your money go?
With my help:
Create a simple, zero-based budget that gives every dollar a job
Use Baby Step-style structure to get stable (emergency fund first!)
Build rhythms that work—even if your income changes every week
You’ll go from scattered to steady with a plan that fits your life.
-
Credit cards feel like survival right now—but you’re digging a hole you don’t want.
With coaching:
Learn how interest works—and how to break the cycle
Build a plan to pay it off and never look back
Use cash and debit to keep your future debt-free
You’ll stop letting debt steal your peace.
-
Classes are great—but no one’s teaching you how to manage money. You want to be capable. You want to feel like an adult.
I can help you:
Build real-world money skills: budgeting, saving, decision-making
Learn to plan for irregular expenses, upcoming bills, and even giving
Feel confident with money—without needing a finance degree
This is Adulting 101—but better.
-
You want independence. You don’t want to be a burden. But things are tight—and you’re stuck.
With my coaching:
Find flexible ways to earn more
Build your own mini emergency fund (hello, Step 1!)
Create a plan that moves you toward independence
It’s not about cutting ties—it’s about standing tall.
-
A parking ticket. A flat tire. A missed shift. One small thing—and you’re spiraling.
Together, let’s work on:
Building a buffer—even on a low income
Planning for the unexpected, so it doesn’t derail you
Creating a safety net, so you can sleep easier
Even $500 in savings can change everything.
-
You want to give. You want to help. But right now, it feels impossible.
Coaching helps you:
Learn how to give from a place of strength
Build margin in your life so you can say yes to what matters
Create long-term financial peace that includes generosity
Giving is part of wealth—not something you wait to do “someday.”
About Your Coach
When I started college, I had $75 every two weeks to live on. That was it. Meal plan? Covered. Tuition? Scholarships. But when it came to going out with friends—I was the guy eating chips and salsa while everyone else ordered real food. Many times I ate off their plates.
Credit cards weren’t an option. My parents lived within their means and avoided debt, and thankfully, those values stuck. I realized if I wanted more in my pocket, I had to earn it. So I started driving home once a month to wait tables—and kept doing it throughout college.
I held onto my scholarships by keeping my grades up, and with my parents helping on housing through year three, I only needed a small loan my final year. I graduated with about $12,000 in student loans—a blessing, compared to many of my friends. But looking back, I know I could’ve done even better with a coach in my corner.
If I’d had someone to help me build a plan, navigate spending, and think long-term—I could’ve left college with zero debt and way more confidence.
That’s what I offer now. I can be that coach for you—on your timeline, at your pace.
I help people in all life stages, from college through retirement. I’m a Ramsey Solutions Master Financial Coach and currently pursuing the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) designation through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education®.
